The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the electronics and manufacturing sector. This role focuses heavily on new business development, client acquisition, RFQ conversion, and relationship management, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.
? Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Strategy- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities
- Analyse competitor activity and market trends
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and lead generation
- Refine offerings based on customer feedback and market insights
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management- Drive new business development and achieve sales targets
- Identify and engage prospective clients in the electronics/harnessing space
- Network, cold call, and attend industry events to generate leads
- Convert RFQs into confirmed orders through negotiation and follow-ups
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Sales Process Management- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closure
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, engineering, QA)
- Prepare and present proposals and client presentations
Reporting & Performance- Develop sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets
- Report on sales activity, market trends, and competitor intelligence
Customer Experience- Ensure excellent client service throughout the engagement cycle
- Resolve client issues in collaboration with internal teams
- Collect feedback to improve service delivery
? Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 5–7 years’ experience in sales/business development within electronics or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of contract manufacturing and electronic components
- Proven track record in new business development and client acquisition
- Experience using CRM systems
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
