Sales Consultant - Laundry Equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team, specializing in the consultative sale of laundry appliances. This is a project-based sales role where the consultant partners with clients throughout the sales cycle—from initial inquiry to final delivery and installation. The ideal candidate is solutions-driven, technically knowledgeable, and thrives on building long-term client relationships within the restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, and commercial laundry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with prospective clients to understand operational needs, site requirements, and project timelines.
• Provide consultative advice and propose tailored appliance solutions.
• Conduct site visits, measure spaces, and collaborate with the design/technical team.
• Prepare detailed quotations, presentations, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal departments, and project managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, developers, and end-users.
• Monitor and manage the sales pipeline using CRM systems.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.
• Stay informed on product developments, industry trends, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles and capital equipment.
• Ability to interpret floorplans, technical drawings, and utility requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal oriented.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial laundry environments.
• Technical background or qualification in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Experience working with manufacturers or distributors of high-end equipment.

Pay: R20,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate: Johannesburg North, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
