Job Purpose
Sky Gate Plc is seeking motivated, customer-focused, and energetic candidates to join our retail team as Sales Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for high-achieving recent graduates and final-year students who are expected to complete their studies by August 2026 and are looking to start their careers in a dynamic international retail environment.
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales activities, maintaining store standards, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for travelers at Bole International Airport. A comprehensive training will be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, providing product information, and delivering a positive shopping experience.
- Sales & Transactions: If needed supporting customers on Processing payments (cash/card), handling refunds, and using POS systems.
- Stock Management: Receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory; restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels.
- Security & Policy: Preventing theft, ensuring safety, and following company procedures.
- Upselling: Informing customers about promotions and suggesting products to increase sales.
