Sales and Marketing

Espeka Zambia Limited is looking for a motivated, results-driven, and innovative Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for market penetration and expansion.
• Generate new leads and develop strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Follow up on quotations and convert quotations into confirmed sales.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
• Promote the company's products and services to new and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain a strong customer database and sales pipeline.
• Prepare and conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations where required.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations, customer inquiries, and prospective clients.
• Develop strategies to increase sales of existing products and identify opportunities for introducing new products to the market.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the production and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are properly communicated and fulfilled.
• Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, and sales forecasts for management.
• Participate in exhibitions, promotions, site visits, and other marketing activities.
• Monitor competitors' pricing, products, and market activities.
• Perform any other sales and marketing duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Proven ability to generate leads and convert quotations into sales.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Good knowledge of the local market and ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Computer literate with good reporting and presentation skills.
• A valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate should not only sell existing products but also bring forward ideas for new products, customers, and markets that can increase the company's revenue.
