Junior Project Manager

The main purpose of this role is the responsibilities to include delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Must oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term project which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables and be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
Requirements

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Excellent computer literacy and strong working knowledge of MS Office
• Valid and unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license plus own transport to and from work
• Qualification in project management or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience (chemical dosing or water treatment)
• Direct work experience in project management capacity
• Proven experience in people management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Proven experience in strategic planning
• Proven experience in risk management
• Proven experience in change management
