JOB TITLE: INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Department: Engineering - Automation & Controls.

Reports to: Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager.

 JOB PURPOSE

 To ensure the effective installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment to support safe and efficient production operations.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Designs, installs, calibrates, and maintains systems and devices (sensors, transmitters, controllers) to monitor and control industrial processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.                                                                                                      

2. Key roles involve configuring DCS/PLC/SCADA.Preparing instrument data sheets, loop diagrams, functional analysis (control, ESD, F&G), and P&IDs.       

3. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues with industrial control systems.     

4. Calibration, maintenance and record keeping of of LT,PT,Control valves,PID,Weighing scales etc.                                                                                             

5. Assisting with technical evaluation of vendors and performing material take-offs.

6. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues with industrial control systems.   

7. Supervising the installation and conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) of equipment.

8. Ensuring all systems comply with safety standards, regulations, and ISO guidelines.

9.  Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records in ERP/SAP.

 Supervision & Training :Supervise technician staff,providing technical training to ensure high-quality workmanship.   

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

 ü Minmum 5 years of experience in industrial Instrumentation Maintenance/ Project.

ü Sound communication skill and should be able to lead the team.

ü Should have Knowledge of Human safety, Equipment safety &s and regulations.

ü Sound knowledge in flow meters,control valves,PT,LT,Sensors,Calibration of equipment,PID,PLC,SCADA.

ü Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

ü Should be capable to provide automation solution.

ü B. E /B.Tech, Instrumentation/ Diploma/  with minimum Experience of 5 years in industrial instrumentation.

JOB TITLE: R/O OPERATOR:

Department: Utilities / Engineering

Reports to: Utilities Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor

 JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant by monitoring, controlling, and maintaining all R/O equipment and processes. The role is responsible for producing treated water that meets Company, Food Safety, and Quality standards to support production operations.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the operation, recovery, efficiency calculation, maintenance in Shift. 

2. Coordinating with the user department.

2. Maintaining the records of the down time and RCA.

3. Preventive and annual maintenance planning and ensuring all activities are carried out within time.

5. Responsible for the 5 S, Top5, Top15 and Top 60 targets.

JOB TITLE:UTILITY IN-CHARGE

Department: Engineering - Utilities

Reports to: Utilities Engineer / Maintenance Manager

 JOB PURPOSE:

To supervise and ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of all utility systems including boilers, air compressors, generators, water treatment plants, and steam distribution networks. The role is responsible for leading the utilities team, ensuring compliance with OHS, Food Safety, and GMP standards, and providing reliable utility services to support uninterrupted production.

KEY RESPONBILITIES

1. Responsible for the operation, recovery, efficiency calculation, maintenance in Shift.

2. Coordinating with the user department.

4. Planning the inventory and communicating to required department and ensuring the required material is received in time.

JOB TITLE: WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR

Department: Stores / Logistics

Reports to: Stores Manager / Logistics Supervisor

Number of vacancies: 1

 JOB PURPOSE

To accurately weigh, record and verify all incoming and outgoing materials, raw materials, packaging, and finished products using the weighbridge system. The role ensures proper documentation, data integrity, and control of stock movements to support production, sales, and finance operations while maintaining security and compliance.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Weighing Operations: Operate the weighbridge to weigh all incoming vehicles carrying raw materials, packaging, fuel, and outgoing vehicles with finished goods and by-products.

2. Documentation: Issue weighbridge tickets, delivery notes, and gate passes. Accurately capture vehicle details, weights, supplier/customer details into the system.

3. Stock Control: Reconcile physical weights with GRNs, invoices and system entries to ensure no variances or losses.

4. Security & Control: Verify vehicle details, driver documents, and ensure only authorized vehicles access the weighbridge. Report any suspicious activities.

5. Equipment Care: Conduct daily checks and cleaning of the weighbridge. Report faults, calibration needs, and downtime to Maintenance/IT immediately.

6. Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on tonnages received, dispatched, and stock balances for management.

7. Compliance: Adhere to Company policies, OHS standards, and food safety/GMP requirements. Maintain professionalism when dealing with transporters and suppliers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

i. Grade 12 Certificate with 5 Credits including Math and English.Certificate/Diploma in Logistics, Stores Management, or related field is an added advantage.

ii. Minimum 2 years experience operating a weighbridge in a manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics environment.

iii. Computer literacy - MS Excel and knowledge of ERP system is an added advantage.

JOB PURPOSE

To fabricate, repair and maintain metal structures, equipment, and components for production machinery and plant infrastructure. The role ensures all welding and fabrication work is done safely, to specification, and in compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and OHS standards to support uninterrupted production operations.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the any repair and Maintenance in the shift

2. Preventive and annual maintenance planning and ensuring all activities are carried out within time

3. Responsible for the 5 S, Top5, Top15 and Top 60 targets.

4. Safety & Quality: Ensure all welding works meet quality standards, are food-safe where applicable, and comply with OHS procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

i. Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in Food Industry in Mechanical Maintenance.

ii. Should have Knowledge of Human safety and Equipment safety.

iii. Grade 12 CertificateTrade Certificate.

iv. Trade Certificate in Welding & Fabrication from a recognized institution.

v. Valid certification in welding processes will be an added advantage.

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

i. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.

To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all mechanical equipment and machinery in the plant. The role ensures maximum equipment availability, reliability, and performance through planned preventive maintenance and breakdown response, while complying with GMP, Food Safety, and OHS standards to support continuous production.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the any repair and Maintenance in the shift

 QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ii. Thorough knowledge of maintenance and hands on experience of repair of each equipment's, pumps, blowers, compressor, Gearbox, Mechanical etc.

JOB TITLE-ONLINE QUALITY CONTROL

Department: Quality Assurance and Control

Reports to: Quality Manager/Shift Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Online Quality Control Officer is responsible for real-time monitoring, verification, and documentation of production operations across all units of the corn wet-milling plant. This role ensures that all process parameters remain within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintains comprehensive production records, monitors sanitation and hygiene standards, and ensures compliance with food safety regulations including FSSC 22000, HACCP, and applicable ISO standards. The Online QC Officer acts as the quality assurance eyes and ears on the production floor, performing routine inspections, collecting samples, maintaining checklists, and immediately escalating any deviations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. OPERATIONAL PARAMETER MONITORING:

  • Monitor and record all critical process parameters across steeping, hydrocyclone refinery, flash drying, starch modification, and enzymatic hydrolysis units.
  • Verify temperature, pressure, flow rates, pH, and viscosity measurements at designated intervals. Ensure all operational parameters remain within SOP-specified limits.
  • Document readings on control charts and online monitoring systems.
  • Identify and flag out-of-specification conditions immediately to Shift Supervisor/Quality Manager

2. PRODUCTION RECORD VERIFICATION:

  • Verify accuracy and completeness of production batch records and logs.
  • Cross-check raw material lot numbers, batch IDs, and product codes with production documentation.
  • Confirm hold times, start/end times, and operator signatures on all records.
  • Review material traceability and ensure proper linkage between raw materials and finished products.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or missing information to Quality Manager for investigation.

3. PROCESS SOP COMPLIANCE VERIFICATION:

  • Verify that all production steps follow approved Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Confirm correct raw material selection, quantities, and quality specifications.
  • Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization, and setup procedures are followed before production initiation.
  • Monitor sequencing and timing of process steps.
  • Verify equipment settings match SOP requirements.

4. SANITATION & HYGIENE MONITORING

  • Conduct visual inspections of production areas for cleanliness and contamination risks.
  • Verify implementation of pre-production cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Monitor personal hygiene compliance (hand washing, protective equipment, hair nets, etc.).
  • Inspect equipment, pipelines, and storage areas for dirt, product residues, or pest evidence.
  • Monitor implementation of sanitization schedules and chemical application procedures.
  • Document findings on sanitation checklists; report non-conformances immediately.

5. CHECKLIST & FORM COMPLETION

  • Complete daily Online QC checklists covering equipment operation, parameter monitoring, and visual inspections.
  • Fill out sanitation and hygiene monitoring forms with accurate and legible entries.
  • Record deviation reports, corrective actions, and follow-up verification.
  • Maintain time-bound records (start times, shift changes, investigations).
  • Ensure all forms are signed, dated, and submitted to Quality Manager before shift end.

6. SAMPLING & LABORATORY COORDINATION

  • Collect in-process and hold samples per established sampling plans.
  • Label samples with batch ID, time, date, and sample location.
  • Deliver samples to QC Laboratory and document chain of custody.
  • Communicate critical test results and any out-of-spec findings to Quality Manager.

7. DEVIATION MANAGEMENT & ESCALATION

  • Immediately report any process deviations, parameter out-of-spec conditions, or sanitation concerns to Shift Supervisor.
  • Document deviations in detail: what, when, where, and initial observations.
  • Support investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and document closure.

8. EQUIPMENT CONDITION & MAINTENANCE TRACKING

  • Monitor equipment for visible damage, leaks, unusual sounds, or vibrations.
  • Report maintenance issues to Plant Operations/Engineering.
  • Verify that equipment has been calibrated and serviced per maintenance schedules.
  • Confirm gauge accuracy and instrumentation function.

9. PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION & LABELING

  • Verify correct product labeling and packaging batch codes.
  • Ensure labels match batch records and production documentation.
  • Report any labeling errors or discrepancies.

10. FOOD SAFETY & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

  • Support FSSC 22000 v6/v7 and HACCP program requirements.
  • Maintain vigilance for Critical Control Points (CCPs) and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Document allergen control and segregation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with Codex Alimentarius, ISO 4833, ISO 21528, ISO 6579, ISO 21527 standards where applicable.

11. RECORD MAINTENANCE & DOCUMENTATION

  • Maintain clear, legible, and complete records and checklists.
  • File documentation in designated areas and ensure proper record retention.
  • Support Internal Audits and regulatory inspections by providing necessary records.

12. COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION

  • Communicate effectively with Production Operators, Shift Supervisors, and Quality Manager.
  • Brief incoming shift QC officer on status of ongoing operations and any outstanding issues
  • Participate in shift handover meetings.
  • Contribute feedback to continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Education & Certification

  • High School Diploma/GCE O-Levels; Diploma in Chemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology preferred.
  • Certification in Food Safety (FSSC 22000, HACCP, or ISO 22000) is an added advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, PDF viewers, online monitoring systems).

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing, starch processing, or chemical production QC.
  • Hands-on experience with process monitoring, parameter documentation, and SOP compliance verification.
  • Demonstrated experience with sanitation audits, hygiene monitoring, and checklist-based inspections.
  • Track record in shift-based operations and real-time problem-solving.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of corn wet-milling processes, starch modification, and enzymatic hydrolysis (training provided).
  • Proficiency with measurement instruments: thermometers, pressure gauges, pH meters, viscosity meters.
  • Familiarity with batch record systems, electronic data capture (ERP/LIMS systems preferred).
  • Basic understanding of FSSC 22000, HACCP principles, and food safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of sampling procedures, sample handling, and traceability documentation.
