JOB ADVERT – ICT INTERN

Kamimbi Aqua Feed Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of ICT Intern. The role will be based at the Kamimbi Aqua Feed Siavonga factory.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist in managing and maintaining Microsoft Office packages.
• Support network management tasks to ensure seamless connectivity and security.
• Help manage and troubleshoot CCTV infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the IT team to provide technical support and resolve issues.
• Participate in the setup and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Conduct regular system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
• Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
• Monitor and respond to IT support requests from staff and users.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on IT equipment as needed.
• Document IT processes, configurations, and user manuals.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and solutions.
• Assist in inducting and training staff on new software and IT procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Full Grade Twelve School Certificate (GCE)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good knowledge of network management principles and practices
• Good understanding of CCTV systems and infrastructure management
• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
