Employment Information

Responsibilities:

  • Design all social media visual assets across all major social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube for each client — static posts, carousels, story templates, ad creative, and branded imagery.
  • Build and maintain branded template libraries per client in Canva Pro and similar software, ensuring fast and consistent production of on-brand assets.
  • Create video and static image channel art, video thumbnails, and branded intro and outro sequences for each client.
  • Edit raw footage supplied by clients into polished, professional YouTube videos (3–6 minutes) and reels, including color grading, audio cleanup, subtitles, and branded elements.
  • Produce short-form vertical video content for Facebook and Instagram Reels and LinkedIn—fast-paced, platform-native, and engaging.
  • Use AI video tools (HeyGen or equivalent) to generate video content where no client footage is available.
  • Design paid ad creative social media platform campaigns, working to format specifications and conversion best practices.
  • Apply motion graphics — animated text, transitions, lower thirds, and kinetic elements — to elevate video content quality.
  • Manage and deliver assets in correct file formats and platform specifications for every output type.
  • Submit all creative work for internal review and client approval via ClickUp/ similar software, incorporating feedback promptly and to a high standard.
  •  Maintain an organised asset library per client — files clearly named, versioned, and stored for easy team access.
  • Stay current with design trends, platform format updates, and video production techniques relevant to social media.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience in a marketing, agency, or creative production environment
  • Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience producing content for digital platforms YouTube, Instagram / Facebook Reels, and others
  • A strong, demonstrable portfolio of social media graphic design static posts, carousels, story templates, and ad creative across multiple brands.
  • A strong, demonstrable portfolio of edited video content, examples must include both long-form (3+ minutes) and short-form (under 60 seconds) work.
  • Proven experience working across multiple client brands simultaneously, maintaining strict visual consistency per brand.
  • Experience producing branded template libraries and design systems for ongoing client use
  • Experience designing for paid social ad campaigns awareness of format specs, safe zones, and creative best practices
  • Experience editing raw, ungraded footage into professional deliverable, not just pre-produced content
  • Experience adding subtitles, captions, and lower thirds to video content.
  • Experience working independently and remotely, managing your own workload to deliver consistently to deadline.

Graphic Design:

  • Advanced graphic design ability strong command of typography, colour theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Brand identity application, working strictly within brand guidelines across multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Social media design — deep knowledge of format specifications, safe zones, and best practices for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
  • Vector design — creating and manipulating scalable vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator
  • Image editing and manipulation — retouching, compositing, and photo treatment in Adobe Photosho
  • Thumbnail design — creating high click-through-rate YouTube thumbnails that stand out in fee
  • Ad creative design — producing paid social assets that are visually arresting and conversion-focuse
  • Template production — building reusable branded templates in Canva Pro for efficient ongoing content creation


Video Editing & Production:

  • Professional video editing: cutting, sequencing, colour grading, audio syncing, and pacing across multiple formats
  • Short-form video: editing vertical and square content for Instagram/Facebook Reels and LinkedIn to platform-native best practices
  • Long-form video: editing YouTube content (3–6 minutes) to a professional broadcast standar
  • Motion graphics: animated text, transitions, branded intro and outro sequences, and lower thirds
  • Subtitle and caption production: accurate, well-timed subtitles including for non-English content
  • AI video production: using tools such as HeyGen to generate video content from scripts and prompts
  • Audio awareness: identifying and correcting audio issues, balancing music, voiceover, and ambient sound


Operations & Collaboration:

  • File management, organised, version-controlled delivery of assets in correct formats per platform and client
  • Ability to work at volume without compromising quality — multiple briefs, multiple clients, tight timeline
  • Clear communication, interprets a brief accurately, asks the right questions, and presents work confidently
  • Receptive to feedback, revises work efficiently and professionally
  • Self-directed, plans and manages own workload with minimal supervision
