Sales Analysis: Analyze sales trends, revenue streams, and product margins. Generate detailed reports highlighting top-performing products, sales patterns, and areas for improved profitability.
Inventory Valuation: Track inventory costs, monitor moving weighted average costs, and ensure accurate valuation of stock in the general ledger.
Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stock audits, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
Reporting: Prepare recurring dashboards and variance analyses for management to inform purchasing, pricing, and operational strategies.
Ledger Management: Process stock-related journal entries, manage accounts payable/receivable associated with inventory, and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis (specifically focused on inventory and sales).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with modern ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally).
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to spot discrepancies in large datasets and translate raw numbers into strategic business insights.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and a rigorous approach to reconciliation.
