Vacant Position: Yard Mechanic Station: Eezy Group Yard

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose issues.
• Examine vehicle computer and electronic systems for repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Repair brake and steering systems.
• Replace or repair vehicle transmissions and fuel components as required.
• Service cooling systems, including air conditioners and engine cooling units.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and other regulated vehicle examinations.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Competencies and Skills

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
• Trade Test qualification.
• Proven experience as a mechanic.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines with strong organizational and time management skills.
