The Workshop Assistant shall undertake various tasks pertaining to golf course maintenance. The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance of the golf machines. He/She will work in a team , operate various machines and work on different tasks on the related to the golf course.

Responsibilities:

Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment.
Daily issuing of fuels for all equipment and record keeping.
Daily spot checks of equipment on site and makes any necessary adjustments.
Oversees workshop area and maintains a well-presented workshop.
Assists in any operation on the golf course when needed.
Set up of all cutting units to correct height and quality of cut.
Monitors usage of course machinery consumables.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge of maintenance of greens, fairways and roughs.
Knowledge of use of golf operating standards equipment and tools.
Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals products.
Knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules and methods of play.
