Where You'll Make an Impact:
Manage and control all traffic, departmental, and operational functions
Monitor service quality through auditing of transport operations
Coordinate effectively across departments and communicate with stakeholders
Analyse traffic operational statistics daily to inform decision-making
Implement and oversee agreed operational changes
Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends
Monitor and interpret the performance of the budget, ensuring financial targets are met
Manage material resource utilisation efficiently
Oversee and evaluate the performance of subordinates
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in traffic or transport management
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Proficiency in management, planning, and report writing
Experience with programming languages such as C and R is advantageous
Excellent communication and inter-departmental coordination abilities
Familiarity with the following:
Logistics industry standards
Transport operational metrics
Market research methodologies
