Stock Controller Manufacturing in Rustenburg

Role Overview

The Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring smooth material flow, and supporting production efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, disciplined, and confident working with Sage 300 and established stock-control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
• Monitor raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and consumables
• Capture and process stock movements on Sage 300
• Conduct cycle counts and full stock takes
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and dispatch teams
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and manufacturing standards
• Prepare inventory reports for management
• Support continuous improvement in stock-control processes

Minimum Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in stock control / inventory management
• Sage 300 proficiency (non-negotiable)
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Matric; relevant certificate/diploma in Supply Chain/Inventory Management advantageous
