Solar Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Solar Site Manager to oversee the installation, construction, and commissioning of commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects. The successful candidate will manage daily site operations, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on solar PV construction sites
• Supervise installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications
• Monitor project progress, quality control, and site productivity
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE regulations
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders
• Compile site reports, progress updates, and handover documentation
• Troubleshoot on-site technical and operational challenges

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in solar PV or construction site management
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and installation processes
• Understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple site activities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Renewable Energy will be advantageous
