Job Summary

  • The Signage Operator Installation will oversee the installation, maintenance, and removal of indoor and outdoor advertising materials.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of signage projects, supervising installation teams, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting field operations across multiple locations.
  • This role is best suited for a technically skilled individual with practical experience in signage installation and outdoor advertising operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair, and remove indoor and outdoor signage, billboards, banners, branding materials, and related advertising structures.
  • Handle the installation and maintenance of illuminated signage, lighting systems, and other electrical components associated with advertising displays.
  • Conduct site inspections and assess installation requirements before project execution.
  • Coordinate and supervise installation crews, contractors, and field technicians when required.
  • Ensure all installations are completed according to specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
  • Monitor the condition of installed signage and recommend maintenance or replacement where necessary.
  • Maintain installation tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are properly utilized and stored.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to signage structures, lighting, and mounting systems.
  • Liaise with clients, landlords, vendors, and regulatory authorities during project execution when necessary.
  • Prepare field reports, installation records, maintenance logs, and status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support other operational activities within the outdoor advertising business as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' practical experience in signage installation, outdoor advertising operations, branding, fabrication, or related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of indoor and outdoor signage systems, mounting techniques, and maintenance procedures.
  • Experience working with illuminated signage, electrical fittings, and lighting components is an advantage.
  • Ability to read installation drawings, measurements, and site specifications.
  • Good understanding of safety procedures and working at heights.
  • Ability to supervise field teams and coordinate multiple installation projects.
  • Physically fit and willing to travel to project locations as required.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of fabrication materials and signage production processes.
  • Experience in outdoor advertising, media, branding, or construction-related operations.
  • Basic electrical and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
