Job Description

• Calculate total landed costs for import and export freight shipments.
• Request and compare rates for air, ocean, and road transport.
• Analyze shipping tariffs, customs duties, and local port charges.
• Prepare accurate, competitive commercial quotes for clients and managers.
• Estimate specialized transport costs for complex project cargo shipments.
• Maintain updated rate databases for shipping lines and overseas partners.
• Work with customs teams to ensure correct tariff classifications.
• Audit supplier charges against quotes to catch any cost variances.

• Proven experience in freight costing within an international freight forwarding environment.
• Good practical knowledge of Incoterms 2020, customs tariffs, and freight surcharges.
• Experience working with air, ocean, and road freight costing.
• Solid skills in logistics software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and good problem-solving ability.
• A positive, team-first attitude and strong communication skills.
