Job Description
- Provide technical support throughout the installation, testing, and commissioning of marine electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults to ensure high-quality vessel builds
- Configure and commission electrical and electronic equipment
- Support production teams by resolving technical issues and improving manufacturing processes
- Review electrical drawings and assist with engineering changes where required
- Drive quality improvements and support new product development
- Mentor technicians and promote best engineering practices across the production environment
Skills and Experience- 5+ years' experience working within the marine industry
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, commissioning, and fault finding
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with electrical testing, commissioning, and quality inspections
- Exposure to PLCs, marine electronics, or digital control systems will be advantageous
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
Qualifications- Red Seal Electrician or Mechatronics qualification
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
