Role Overview As a Senior Technician, you will perform inspections and replacement tasks on aircraft and their systems, ensuring compliance with KCAA regulations and company procedures.
Your expertise will be critical in maintaining aircraft airworthiness and schedule integrity through accurate defect assessment, troubleshooting, and certification within the single scope approval. Key Responsibilities for Senior Technician Jobs in Lusaka Assess and rectify defects on aircraft, certifying work to enable timely aircraft release.
Conduct scheduled maintenance checks and service bulletin tasks, certifying aircraft safety within planned downtime. Identify and requisition necessary parts to support maintenance activities.
Perform and certify duplicate inspections on safety-critical aircraft and engine systems to ensure integrity. Report incidents or accidents in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks to preserve up-to-date aircraft history and data. Adhere strictly to company safety, health, and environmental policies.

Skills and Qualifications Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. Completion of an Apprenticeship Programme.
Mandatory training certifications relevant to the role. Minimum of three years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and inspection.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent judgment with attention to detail.
