As we expand our portfolio of SME and corporate clients, we are looking for a motivated Sales and Marketing Officer to generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities for Sales and Marketing Officer Jobs in Lusaka Identify and reach out to 15–20 potential clients monthly, targeting SMEs and businesses in Lusaka and surrounding areas via phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and in-person visits.

Effectively present JS HR Consulting Services’ offerings, including HR compliance advisory, payroll processing, recruitment support, HR policy development, performance management, and training/masterclasses. Follow up on all leads within 48 hours and continue engagement until a final decision is made.

Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and service information with support from the HR team as needed. Negotiate and close service agreements, then coordinate client onboarding with the HR team.

Attend business networking events, SME forums, and trade association meetings to build relationships and expand the client base. Maintain detailed records of leads and interactions, submitting weekly pipeline updates to management.

Request referrals from closed clients and actively pursue these new opportunities. Identify emerging sectors and client types for future targeting and growth.

Candidate Profile and Requirements Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with confidence in cold outreach. Proficient in online and social selling platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Facebook, as well as in-person networking.

A proactive lead generator who continuously builds and maintains a sales pipeline. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development is advantageous. Possession of a personal laptop and reliable internet access is mandatory.

Women are strongly encouraged to apply. Performance Expectations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Generate at least 20 qualified leads per month across HR consulting services.

Convert a minimum of 15% of qualified leads into paying clients or signed engagements. Close at least 2 new clients monthly, with a target of 3 or more for strong performance.

Meet agreed monthly sales value targets reviewed with management. Keep pipeline records updated weekly, ensuring no lead is un-followed-up for more than five working days.

Obtain at least 2 client referrals each month through existing relationships or networking. Consistent achievement of these KPIs is essential for the role’s long-term viability and opens opportunities for advancement into larger business development roles as JS HR Consulting Services grows.

Compensation Package This position offers a guaranteed base salary of ZMW 2,000 per month, regardless of sales performance. In addition, a 30% commission is awarded on the value of sales generated from each client secured, contingent upon meeting monthly KPIs.
