KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Carry out rope access work safely and efficiently on a variety of structures and project sites
• Conduct pre-task risk assessments and identify potential hazards before commencing work
• Inspect, maintain, and correctly use rope access equipment in accordance with industry standards
• Perform inspections, maintenance, installations, and repairs as required
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and health and safety regulations
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and equipment defects promptly
• Complete accurate job documentation and site reports
• Work effectively with site teams while promoting a strong safety culture
• Travel to project sites across South Africa as required

• Valid Rope Access Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3), with higher-level certification being advantageous
• Previous experience in high-level rope access environments
• Strong understanding of risk assessments, hazard identification, and safe work practices
• Physically and medically fit to work at heights
• Valid driver's licence
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
• Mature, dependable, and professional with sound decision-making abilities
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
