Working with major corporates and public sector clients, the business provides smart software solutions that make consolidating and analysing multi-entity data seamless.

The role offers strong exposure to both finance and systems, alongside the chance to develop consulting and client engagement skills within an innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build reporting and planning applications within specialised financial reporting software.
  • Develop data collection templates and financial models using advanced Excel functionality.
  • Configure reporting structures and integrate data from multiple source systems.
  • Produce automated financial reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for clients' use.
  • Manage client relationships and provide ongoing system support and optimisation recommendations.
  • Assist with implementation projects, documentation, and client training.
  • Participate in internal initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Education:
    • BCom in Finance or a related financial Degree
    • Completed or in progress CIMA qualification will be advantageous / CA(SA)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial reporting, FP&A, financial management, or Financial Business Analyst role
    • Experience implementing or supporting financial reporting / planning software solutions
  • Skills:
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, and reporting outputs)
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
    • Ability to prepare financial reports, such as management accounts, financial statements, or budget packs
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • High level of professionalism and confidence when engaging with finance professionals
  • Advantageous:
    • Understanding of IFRS and group consolidation principles
    • Exposure to SQL or database environments
    • Prior consulting or software implementation experience
    • Completed accounting articles
