Project Manager

Our client in the property development sector is seeking a Project Manager to join their team based in Matsapha. This role offers exposure across residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments, with responsibility spanning the full project lifecycle from early design through to construction and handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring programme certainty, stakeholder coordination, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage property development projects from concept design through to construction and handover
• Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project programmes, milestones, and delivery schedules
• Coordinate multidisciplinary professional teams including architects, engineers, QSs, and consultants
• Manage contractor performance in terms of programme, quality, and contractual compliance
• Chair and facilitate design, technical, and site meetings
• Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with approved development objectives
• Track project progress and identify programme, cost, and delivery risks
• Work closely with commercial teams on cost control, variations, and contract administration
• Prepare monthly project progress reports for internal stakeholders, investors, and funders
• Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, contracts, and governance requirements
• Conduct regular site visits across South Africa and Eswatini
