Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end transition of IT services and infrastructure for the office.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee domain migrations, network configurations, and Microsoft 365 (M365) environment setup and migration activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, engagement, and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Manage project governance, ensuring adherence to established methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure business continuity throughout the transition process by minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and proactively address challenges and roadblocks.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate vendor engagement and coordination where required.
  • Drive post-transition stabilization activities and ensure successful handover to operational support teams.
Experience:
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within transition, transformation, migration, or integration environments.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Networking principles and IT infrastructure.
  • Microsoft 365 (M365) administration and migrations.
  • Domain migrations and tenant consolidation activities.
  • Company transitions, mergers, acquisitions, and IT integration projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project planning, execution, and delivery capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams across multiple locations.
Qualifications:
  • Matric and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management certification such as:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2
  • Agile/Scrum Certifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management practices.
  • Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
