A leading company in the commercial and industrial lighting industry is looking for an experienced Project Lighting Consultant to grow business across the Western Cape.
This role is suited to a commercially driven sales professional who understands the lighting industry, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and has a proven ability to develop new business while managing existing accounts.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Proven experience within the LED lighting industry (essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in lighting sales
- Strong business development and account management experience
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Grow and manage an established customer base
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Build relationships with contractors, consultants, wholesalers, and project stakeholders
- Promote lighting solutions into commercial and industrial projects
- Prepare quotations and manage customer follow-ups
- Stay up to date with lighting technologies, standards, and market trends
Exposure to
project sales, lighting specifications, electrical wholesalers, or commercial lighting projects will be highly advantageous.
