Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma or Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Production Supervisor role within the automotive or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Supervise daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Monitor and manage attendance, productivity, downtime, and shift performance.
- Allocate and optimise resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
- Ensure the correct operation of Assembly welding production machinery and equipment
- Identify equipment or process issues and escalate maintenance requirements timeously
- Enforce standard operating procedures and quality standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects
- Maintain sound employee relations and discipline in line with labour legislation
- Compile, analyse, and interpret production and performance reports
