Printer Field Service Technician

Smart Office Connexion is currently seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of peripheral equipment, including MFP copiers and printers (colour and mono) at client sites in the Potchefstroom and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: • Provide onsite servicing of client devices • Conduct logical and IT-related troubleshooting across a variety of devices • Support software-related issues, including firmware updates and device installations • Troubleshoot hardware issues on copiers and printers • Carry out preventative maintenance services to reduce device failures • Complete service calls within SLA timeframes • Submit accurate job sheets and maintain boot stock of toners and spares • Use the mobile app (Tech Connect) effectively for job tracking and updates • Ensure high-quality workmanship across all tasks Required Skills & Experience: • Matric Certificate (Essential) • Valid Driver’s License (Essential) • Minimum 1 year of experience in the office automation industry • Previous field service experience • Experience with high-volume devices • Basic networking and software understanding • Must reside in Potchefstroom or surrounding areas POPIA Compliance: SOX is an equal opportunity employer.
