Key Responsibilities
- Operates a Tractor Loader Backhoe.
- Checks tyre pressure.
- Reports cuts or uneven wear
- Checks coolant, oil and fuel levels.
- Drains condensation.
- Cleans / blows air cleaner/filters and breathers
- Tightens loose nuts, grease machines, refuels ad cleans the machines.
- Tops up batteries with distilled water, detects corrosion, checks damages remove replace batteries
Requirements
STD 7/PSLE or Junior Certificate In addition, the candidate must have successfully completed a heavy plant operator course on Tractor Loader backhoe (T.L.B.) with Certificates from a recognized or accredited institution. Possess experience with Bulldozer and Front End Loader Machine, Grader, Scrapper (added advantage). Possess the approved driver’s license (H) i.e. Special Type for Tractor Loader Backhoe and other Machines (added advantage). Serving candidates should have served a minimum of two (2) years satisfactory service as Plant Operator II B3 salary scale. Direct entry candidates must possess T.L.B. Certificates plus five years’ experience.
