The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical injuries, disabilities, and movement disorders. This role involves developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs to restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life, using a variety of therapeutic techniques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clinical Duties:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
    • Diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical impairments.
    • Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy, and other modalities.
    • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide clear documentation of interventions and outcomes.
    • Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and ergonomic principles.
    • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient treatment records.
    • Manage physiotherapy equipment and ensure its proper use and maintenance.
    • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service development.
  • Educational Duties:
    • Promote patient self-management through education and home exercise programs.
    • Stay updated with advancements in physiotherapy research and techniques.
