Description:

They are seeking an experienced Operations and Logistics Manager to lead and optimise their day-to-day operations while driving the continued growth and success of the business. The successful candidate will oversee operations, logistics, fleet and asset management, team performance, cost control, and customer service while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong operational and people management experience to make a meaningful impact within a growing organisation.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics and/or operations management.
• Proven experience managing teams in a labour-intensive environment.
• Experience within the sanitation, construction, or equipment rental industry will be advantageous.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and coordination abilities.
• Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Good financial acumen with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of fleet and route management systems will be advantageous.
• A hands-on management style with a willingness to be actively involved in daily operations.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Reliable, accountable, and dependable.
• Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Results-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
