Available Finance Jobs in Nakambala Mazabuka 1. Data Analyst – Taxation (1 Position) Permanent position reporting to the Taxation Accountant The Data Analyst will support the company’s direct and indirect tax functions, ensuring compliance with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) regulations and maintaining accurate tax documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tax correspondence with ZRA and other stakeholders.
• Assist with timely submission of tax returns and payments.
• Handle supplier garnishments and tax audits.
• Maintain tax payment registers and reconciliations.
• Compile export documentation for VAT Rule 18 and prepare VAT schedules.
• Process duty drawback documentation and review import VAT claims.
• Respond to ZRA tax queries and support tax inspections and audits.
• Maintain tax working papers, conduct reconciliations, and perform data analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• ACCA, CIMA, ZICA qualification, or equivalent.
• At least one year’s experience in a tax environment.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Corporate Income Tax and the Income Tax Act.
• Excellent analytical abilities and membership with ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Financial Planner (1 Position) – Re-Advertised Permanent position reporting to the Finance Business Partner The Financial Planner will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and five-year business plans.
• Analyse production costs and financial performance.
• Produce monthly and annual financial reports.
• Coordinate business performance reviews and support budget holders.
• Review scorecards and key performance indicators.
• Participate in benchmarking and business meetings.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or related field.
• Membership of ZICA; ACCA, CIMA, or CA Zambia qualification is an advantage.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in management or cost accounting.
• SAP experience is an added advantage.

Finance Officer – Treasury (1 Position) – Re-Advertised Permanent position reporting to the Treasury Analyst The Finance Officer will support treasury operations including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and banking activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily liquidity reviews and process bank reconciliations.
• Analyse bank transactions and prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor overdrafts and interest accruals.
• Process treasury receipts, deposits, and support dividend payments.
• Maintain banking platform access and upload bank statements for SAP processing.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Degree in Accounting or Intermediate ACCA/CIMA/ZICA qualification.
• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience; treasury experience is preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Membership of ZICA.
• ZAQA-verified qualifications.
