Mine Engineer

Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Engineer to join their mining company based in North-West. You will be responsible for leading engineering, maintenance and operational improvement activities to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining compliance with statutory and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective mining and processing operations.
• Monitor and optimise plant, equipment and production performance to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Manage maintenance activities, asset reliability programmes and engineering projects within the area of responsibility.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, equipment performance and operational effectiveness.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, cost controls and resource utilisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, statutory requirements and engineering best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to support a safe working environment.
• Manage contractors, service providers and operational teams to ensure effective execution of engineering activities.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and support departments to achieve operational targets and business objectives.
• Prepare and present technical, operational and performance reports to management and stakeholders.

• Grade 12
• National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines & Works
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Engineer within the mining industry
• Experience in plant maintenance and Project management
• Valid Driver's License

• Salary: R1.2Mil - R1.8Mil P/A
• Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
