Millwright

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Install, commission, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before equipment failure.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and production systems where applicable.
• Ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
• Complete maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Qualified Millwright Trade Test (Red Seal).
• Minimum of 3–5 years' post-trade experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Experience with PLC fault-finding will be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Computer literacy and experience completing maintenance documentation.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and standby when required.
