Background

The North Western Provincial Health Office, under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions listed below, to be employed on a ten (10) month contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and undertake the provision of HIV/TB mentorship programs in order to improve the capacity of service providers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Mentorship: Coordinates and undertakes HIV/TB mentorship programs in order to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Undertakes effectively the monitoring and evaluation of HIV/TB programs in order to facilitate appropriate interventions.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent.
  • Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer literacy, integrity, analytical skills, confidentiality and interpersonal skills.

Location Distribution

  • Kalumbila: Kalumbila District Health Office - 1 Position
  • Kasempa: Kasempa District Health Office - 1 Position

Additional Notes

Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)-verified qualification documents will be an added advantage for all applications submitted under this announcement.
