Vacancy: Mechanical Fitter

Duties & Responsibilities

Execute routine maintenance and repair tasks on complex machinery and equipment to ensure peak performance.

Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize production downtime.

Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

Collaborate with the team to drive improvements in machinery and production processes.

Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Experience working on ammonia refrigeration advantageous

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric with N3 and Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter or equivalent

At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter within the FMCG sector, with experience in a bakery being highly advantageous.

Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven track record in maintaining and repairing advanced machinery.

Proven Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
