MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A qualification in the electrical or mechanical field will be advantageous
- Packhouse experience will be an advantage
- A Strong Mechanical and Electrical background
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED - Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Ability to follow a maintenance schedule.
- Physical and manual dexterity and agility.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Carry out scheduled maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on pneumatic and conveyor systems
- Fabricate, assemble, and retrofit mechanical/electrical systems to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and parts inventories
- Install, dismantle, and align machinery according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine inspections and testing to prevent failures and ensure reliable operation
- Maintain high standards of workmanship
