Machinist

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Machinist in the clothing manufacturing industry
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines
• Experience operating one or more of the following machines:
  • Overlocker
  • Safety Machine
  • Flossing Machine
  • Buttonhole Machine
  • Box Safety Machine
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Willingness to work overtime when required

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce quality garments
• Check garment pieces, fabric panels, and measurements before stitching
• Ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met
• Report machine faults to the Line Supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation
• Perform other reasonable duties as required
