What You Will Do

• Inspect surface preparation and blast cleaning profiles on site daily.
• Monitor environmental conditions like humidity and substrate temperatures during job runs.
• Measure wet and dry film thickness using standard digital testing equipment.
• Perform adhesion tests and holiday detection tests on protected surfaces.
• Write simple quality reports and keep tracking records up to date.
• Guide application crews on correct application steps and quality standards.
• Check that all inspection tools are calibrated and working correctly.
• Issue final quality sign-offs before equipment goes back to the client.

• Valid NACE Level 2 or AMPP Level 2 Coating Inspector certification.
• Good practical experience with industrial coatings and blast cleaning methods.
• Comfort using standard coating inspection tools like DFT gauges and psychrometers.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Ability to lead a workshop team with clear, helpful guidance.
