Job Summary

• The Legal Officer will provide legal and regulatory support to the Company, manage legal risks, review contracts, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and support corporate governance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Provide legal advice and opinions on corporate and commercial matters.
• Support regulatory compliance and liaise with regulatory authorities where required.
• Assist with litigation management and engagement with external counsel.
• Conduct legal research and monitor legal and regulatory developments.
• Support corporate governance and company secretarial activities.
• Review internal policies and procedures for legal compliance.
• Maintain statutory registers and corporate records.
• Prepare legal reports, briefs, and other documentation as required.

Education & Experience

• LL.B and BL qualifications.
• 3–7 years post-call experience.
• Prior in-house or corporate legal experience preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in contract drafting and review.
• Knowledge of Nigerian corporate and commercial laws.
