Junior Accountant

About the Role

St. Gabriel General Hospital PLC is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage daily financial and accounting tasks. In this role, you will ensure accurate record-keeping, process accounts payable and receivable, and assist with audits and month-end closing procedures to support the finance team's core operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ledger Maintenance: Post journal entries, maintain ledgers, and update financial statements.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and company accounts to ensure zero discrepancies.
• Accounts Management: Process accounts payable (invoices and vendor payments) and accounts receivable (customer billing and collections).
• Financial Reporting: Assist senior staff in generating cash flow statements, income statements, and budget tracking.
• Cash & Petty Cash: Manage petty cash funds and record daily cash transactions.
• Compliance & Auditing: Help compile documents for internal and external audits, and assist with basic tax filings.
