IT Executive

Our client is seeking a highly experienced IT Executive to lead and drive enterprise IT strategy within a fast-paced retail environment based in Durban/Newlands East. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to operate effectively under pressure in an onsite setting.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 7–10 years’ IT leadership experience, preferably in QSR or retail
• Strong experience with POS systems and retail technology environments
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, cybersecurity, and risk management
• Experience with APIs, mobile applications, and system integrations
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Valid driver’s licence
