Job Description

  • The Entry-Level HR Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
  • The role involves assisting with onboarding process, employee records management, staff welfare, and day-to-day HR operations within a mining and industrial work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment activities including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee files, records, and HR databases.
  • Support staff onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and basic payroll documentation.
  • Handle employee inquiries and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and company rules.
  • Assist in coordinating training programs, meetings, and staff activities.
  • Support employee welfare and disciplinary documentation processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information at all times.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and Nigerian labour laws.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work in a mining / site environment.
  • Female, Age 23-27 years olds.
