A candidate with a unique polish and attention to detail for what makes a majestic property such as this stand out from other five-star hotels REQUIREMENTS: ° Diploma in Hospitality Management or Accommodation Services. ° Proven housekeeping experience in a 5* exclusive hotel environment. ° Highly Computer literate with knowledge of FOH and BOH Systems such as Oracle OPERA, Cloudbeds, RoomRaccoon, and Roommaster. ° Strong leadership and management skills. ° Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. ° Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ° Excellent administration, planning and staff scheduling skills. ° Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. ° Natural passion for training, motivating and leading staff. ° Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. ° Strong financial acumen with ability to manage a budget, control expenses and inventories. ° Ability to handle guest requests and complaints. ° Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. ° Additional qualifications or certification in first aid, housekeeping principles & management a huge advantage. RESPONSIBILITIES: ° Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. ° Manage and train housekeeping staff. ° Ensure that all areas of the property are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. ° Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures. ° Order and maintain cleaning supplies. ° Manage the housekeeping budget. ° Handle guest requests and complaints. ° Inspect rooms and other areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance. ° Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff. ° Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
