Head of HSE

A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Head of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to lead and strengthen its safety culture, environmental compliance, and occupational health initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, and management systems. Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards. Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action programs. Drive workplace safety awareness and training initiatives. Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability programs. Provide strategic leadership on health, safety, and environmental matters across project sites. Prepare HSE reports and performance metrics for management review. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are mandatory. Minimum 7 years of experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry. At least 4 years in a leadership or management role within HSE. Strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk management, environmental compliance, and incident investigation. Required Skills Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE management systems. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting abilities. Ability to drive a proactive safety culture across multiple sites and teams.
