Job Summary
- FITC is seeking to recruit an innovative, technology-driven, and experienced professional to lead its Digital Learning function and drive the institution's digital learning transformation agenda.
- The Head, Digital Learning LMS will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of FITC's digital learning ecosystem.
- The role will provide strategic leadership for learning technology, digital content development, instructional design, curriculum innovation, and Learning Management System LMS administration to deliver world-class learning experiences and scalable learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Learning Content Design & Instructional Authoring:
- Lead the design and development of engaging digital learning content and e-learning programmes.
- Develop interactive learning resources using modern authoring tools and multimedia technologies.
- Ensure learning content aligns with global digital learning standards and best practices.
Instructional Design & Learning Methodology:
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies in programme development.
- Design learner-centred, outcome-driven digital learning experiences.
- Establish quality assurance standards for digital learning delivery.
Learning Management Systems LMS & Learning Technologies:
- Provide strategic oversight for FITC's LMS and digital learning platforms.
- Manage system administration, learner analytics, reporting, and platform optimization.
- Drive the adoption of emerging learning technologies and digital learning innovations.
Curriculum & Programme Development:
- Develop and review digital learning curricula aligned with industry needs.
- Convert classroom-based programmes into digital and blended learning formats.
- Support the commercialization and scalability of digital learning offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related discipline. Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- 10–12 years progressive experience in Digital Learning, Learning Technology, LMS Management & Administration, Instructional Design, or E-Learning Development.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise Learning Management Systems and digital learning environments.
Professional Certifications Mandatory:
- Candidates must possess relevant certifications and memberships in one or more of the following: ATD Association for Talent Development; Learning & Performance Institute LPI; Certified Instructional Designer; Moodle Certification; Articulate Storyline Certification; Adobe Captivate Certification; Project Management Certification PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile; Relevant Learning Technology or Digital Learning Certifications
