Position Overview
You will own Belyfted’s go-to-market GTM strategy, corridor-specific acquisition funnels, content engine, and social media footprint. This role is highly strategic yet deeply execution-focused. You will design, build, and optimize hyper-targeted campaigns that attract diaspora users in the UK, driving brand trust, lower customer acquisition costs CAC, and higher product adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Corridor Growth & Diaspora Acquisition
- Design GTM Playbooks: Formulate and execute specific go-to-market strategies for our key corridors Nigeria, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam etc.
- Target Diaspora Communities: Deploy tailored marketing campaigns targeting UK diaspora communities, leveraging cultural nuances, seasonal holidays e.g., Ramadan, Lunar New Year, Eid, and unique corridor pain points.
- Optimize Trust & Conversion: Run targeted positioning tests to overcome the high trust barrier inherent in migrant cross-border financial apps.
Multi-Channel Execution & Content Management
- Own Social Media Engines: Produce and manage organic and paid content strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and Medium.
- Build Digital Communities: Nurture and scale community channels e.g., WhatsApp groups, Telegram, Reddit, Facebook Groups relevant to specific immigrant and expat networks in the UK.
- Email & Lifecycle Marketing: Build and deploy automated email marketing funnels to onboard new sign-ups, reduce transaction abandonment, and boost repeat remittance behavior.
- Content Calendar Ownership: Maintain a rigorous monthly content calendar ensuring a constant stream of educational and localized content.
Data Analytics & Competitor Intelligence
- Analyze Performance Monthly: Track, measure, and report on key fintech performance indicators including CAC, Customer Lifetime Value LTV, transaction volume velocity, and app installs.
- Benchmark Competitors: Monitor and dissect competitor strategies from platforms like Revolut, Wise, and Remitly to capture market share on exchange rates and transfer speed messaging.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Deliver actionable recommendations to executive leadership on a monthly basis, ruthlessly eliminating low-performing campaigns to protect marketing ROI.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or strategic marketing.
- FinTech Blueprint: Direct experience in fintech, consumer financial apps B2C, or cross-border payment platforms is highly desirable.
- Diaspora Marketing Expertise: Proven understanding of how to target, reach, and resonate with migrant or diaspora demographics within the UK.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficient with product and marketing analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or Adjust to translate complex data into business decisions.
- Exceptional Copywriting: Strong written communication skills with the ability to write high-converting ad copy, localized content, and professional email newsletters.
- Autonomy: A self-starter attitude capable of managing multiple cross-functional marketing channels simultaneously with minimal supervision.
