GENERAL WORKER

Job Purpose

To provide general operational, maintenance and support services as assigned by management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies as required.
• Support cleaning, maintenance and facility activities.
• Assist different departments with routine tasks.
• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance where appropriately trained.
• Keep work areas clean and organised.
• Assist with gardening and outdoor maintenance where required.
• Handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Support setup and breakdown of events or activities.
• Report damaged equipment or safety hazards.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Basic education.
• Previous experience in general labour, hospitality, maintenance or facilities support is an advantage.
• Ability to perform physical tasks.
