MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines will be explained as a part of the orientation process.
· Provide direction and feedback to team members during shifts.
· Schedule employee shifts and assign duties.
· Follow up and ensuring that all traces, comments and guests’ profile are properly done.
· Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences.
· Train and coach new employees.
· Overall view and ensure good running of all equipment.
· To inspect and ensure that cold towels are well prepared and stocked as per the number of arrival.
· To inspect and ensure that the lobby, the welcome corner clean, the jars for the welcome ice tea ,other beverages, cookies and sweets are systematically replenished and are welcoming.
· Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits.
· Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
· Address guests and employee complaints.
· Resolve conflicts between employees.
· Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
· Attend all meetings assigned by the Front Office Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager.
· Participate in training as and when requested by Management.
· Any other cognate duties may be assigned.
CRITERIA
· Proven experience as a Front Office Supervisor or relevant managerial role.
· High school diploma is preferred.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a resort.
· Certificate from Hotel School. (Min NC 3/NC4).
· Knowledge on the PMS System Opera.
· Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations.
· Commitment to excellent service.
· Fluent in written & spoken English, additional languages will be an advantage.
· Excellent knowledge in computing and MS Office.
· Positive attitude, self-motivated and goal-driven.
· Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
· Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
