Financial Manager – Financial Services
 
Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the full finance function across multiple local and offshore entities. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, ownership of month-end reporting, statutory compliance, audit management, and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, IFRS 16, fixed assets, payroll, transfer pricing, and management reporting.
• Oversee tax and statutory submissions, including VAT, income tax, dividend withholding tax, and securities transfer tax.
• Manage intercompany accounting, loan accounts, and transfer pricing across local and international entities.
• Lead the annual audit process, prepare financial statements, and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee daily finance operations, banking, payments, and financial controls.
• Drive finance projects, process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.

• Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven experience managing month-end, audits, tax, and multiple entities.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience.
• Financial services or stockbroking experience is highly advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
