Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the full finance function, including reporting, compliance, and financial operations
• Drive the company’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Prepare and present board packs, financial reports, and executive summaries
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and profitability analysis
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and operational decision-making
• Lead internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors, banks, and stakeholders
• Develop and implement strong financial controls, systems, and process improvements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and succession planning

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification (essential)

Experience:

• 10+ years’ finance experience, with significant leadership exposure
• Proven experience in a Financial Director, Head of Finance, or Senior Financial Management role
• Industry experience within retail, manufacturing, engineering, property, or related sectors advantageous

Skills:

• Advanced financial reporting and strategic finance expertise
• Strong commercial acumen and business partnering abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems experience

• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
