Facilitate training on workshop equipment and in the classroom:
- Provide direct technical training assistance on mechanical and welding equipment, including but not limited to pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a controlled environment.
- Presentation delivery on training module for each phase.
- Prepare learner progress reports.
- Setup and prepare module test sessions.
- Assess student progress per module per phase.
Maintenance and Repair:- Train preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and welding machinery to ensure its reliability and availability.
Technical Assistance and Reporting:- Assist with technical queries, evaluate applications and help with creating technical reports and documentation.
Safety and Quality:- Guide and constantly inform, uphold and ensure compliance with all relevant safety (OHS) and quality protocols including Toolbox Talks, presentations and apprentice induction support.
Customer Service:- Assist all visitors, customers and candidates and provide a positive customer experience.
Administrative Support:- Provide administrative support to ensure the fulfillment of the directorate’s objectives in addition to broader administrative duties as required from the administrative team.
Qualifications and Experience:- Grade 12 with proficiency in English.
- Mechanical or welding trade test qualification.
- Certified facilitator and assessor.
- A background in safety is highly advantageous.
